Financial Literacy

Financial literacy is the cognitive understanding of financial components and skills such as budgeting, investing, borrowing, taxation, and personal financial management. The Financial Literacy Program is an online certification course constructed on the foundation proposed by the Academic Director.The syllabus of FLP was formulated by a joint team of expert faculties from the concerned institution. The module-wise topics were shared among the assigned faculties who had designed the content and recorded the sessions which were uploaded on Google Classroom. 10 colleges have encouraged the participation of students studying in their respective courses. The course provides a flexible learning program and access to the shared resources to the enrolled students. After successful completion of the course and evaluation test, students are awarded with certificates. The FLP certification empowers students, prepares them for the real world, reduces financial stress, enhances career readiness, fosters responsible citizenship, supports long-term financial goals, and meets accreditation and accountability standards.
