Sports

Students who excel in sports can receive a fee concession of up to 100%.

In order to be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • 100% scholarship awarded to students who win an international championship/medal, participate in an international sports event or win a national medal
  • 75% scholarship in fees for participation at the national level or for winning a medal at state/inter-university competitions.
  • 50% scholarship in fees for participation in state-level/inter-university competitions
  • 30% scholarship in fees for winning zonal level competitions
  • 20% scholarship in fees for winning a district level competition

The Sports Authority of India or the State Government must recognise the competition/event with due prior permission from the College Authority.

Meritorious

Scholarships upto 80% are given to students based on their academic performance in Class XIIth/equivalent.

Scholarships are available for qualified students who have earned a high school diploma/equivalent, and are seeking admission into first-year degree college. These are as follows:

  • A student who has secured 90% and above can avail of an 80% discount on fees
  • A student who has secured 80% and above can avail of a 70% discount on fees
  • A student who has secured 75% and above can avail of a 50% discount on fees
  • A student who has secured 70% and above can avail of a 25% discount on fees
Gujarati Minority

A student belonging to a Gujarati speaking linguistic minority community can avail of up to 100% concession in fee.

Required documents:

A Domicile Certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra.

Or proof that the student has completed his education in Maharashtra up to Xth Grade (Gujaratis who reside in Maharashtra are considered minorities in Maharashtra whereas Gujaratis domiciled in the State of Gujarat seeking admission to Maharashtra are not considered minorities) 

AND

Any one of the following:

  • A School Leaving Certificate (of SSC/equivalent) specifying ‘GUJARATI’ as the applicant’s mother tongue.
  • Marksheets from SSC/equivalent examinations taken by the student/parent with Gujarati as one of the Xth/equivalent Examination languages.
  • A Vasti Patra issued by a community trust, stating that the applicant and his/her parents are Gujaratis living in Maharashtra
